  — Hispano-Visigothic archaeology and landscape (I): The necropolis in Herrera de Pisuerga —

The archaeological excavations made in Herrera de Pisuerga document the existence of a large necropolis from the Hispano-Visigoth period which evidences the presence of people in its built-up area between the 6th and 7th century AD. This project studies the material remains linked to that period and its historical and social implications from a contemporary and interdisciplinary standpoint based on known data of former excavations made in the 1930s and the recent findings made at this settlement by the IE University team.
